Rehabilitate Taxiway B
(Widen Taxilane Y)
Taxiway B is the full-length parallel taxiway serving the east side of the airport. Constructed over 20 years ago, portions of the taxiway need to be constructed while most of the taxiway can be rehabilitated by milling off the old surface and replacing it with new asphalt. The project will also include the widening of Taxiway Y adjacent to the T-Hangars to allow for better aircraft maneuvering on the east ramp.
Funded through FAA State and local funds, Chemung Contracting was awarded the $3,500,000 project.
